Māsopavāsa (Month-long Fast) and Repeated Parāka Observances: Procedure and Fruits

विद्वद्भिः सहितो विष्णुमर्चयित्वा यथोचितम् । संकल्पं तु ततः कुर्यास्त्वस्ति वाचनपूर्वकम् ॥ ५ ॥

vidvadbhiḥ sahito viṣṇumarcayitvā yathocitam | saṃkalpaṃ tu tataḥ kuryāstvasti vācanapūrvakam || 5 ||

学識あるバラモンたちと共に、作法にかなってヴィシュヌを礼拝したのち、吉祥の祝詞スヴァスティ・ヴァーチャナの誦唱を先として、サンカルパ(誓願の宣言)を立てるべきである。
