Dhvaja-Dhāraṇa Mahātmyam: Sumati–Satyamatī, Humility, and Deliverance by Hari’s Messengers
अनिच्छया कृतेनापि सेवनेन हरेर्मुने । प्राप्तमीदृक् फलं विप्र देवानामपि दुर्लभम् ॥ ८० ॥
anicchayā kṛtenāpi sevanena harermune | prāptamīdṛk phalaṃ vipra devānāmapi durlabham || 80 ||
おお聖仙よ、欲を離れてなされたハリへの奉仕でさえ、このような果報が得られる—おお婆羅門よ—それは神々にとってさえ得難い報いである。
Sanatkumara (addressing Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It teaches that even minimal or reluctant service to Hari, when free from personal craving, can yield an extraordinarily rare spiritual result—surpassing what even the devas easily attain.
It highlights nishkāma-bhakti: devotion expressed as service (seva) without desire for reward. The verse implies that purity of intention elevates the fruit of devotion beyond ordinary merit.
No specific Vedanga (like Vyākaraṇa, Jyotiṣa, or Kalpa) is taught directly; the practical takeaway is ethical-ritual orientation—performing worship/service with non-attachment, which aligns with dharma-focused sādhanā.
