Nārada’s Hymn to Viṣṇu
Nāradasya Viṣṇu-stavaḥ
हृदि स्थितोऽपि यो देवो मायया मोहितात्मनाम् । न ज्ञायेत परः शुद्धस्तमस्मि शरणं गतः ॥ ३५ ॥
hṛdi sthito'pi yo devo māyayā mohitātmanām | na jñāyeta paraḥ śuddhastamasmi śaraṇaṃ gataḥ || 35 ||
神なる主は心中に住し給うとも、マーヤーに惑わされた者には知られない—至上にして常に清浄なる御方。その御方に我は帰依し奉る。
Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: karuna
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It teaches that the Supreme Lord is immanent in the heart, yet remains unrecognized when consciousness is covered by Māyā; liberation begins with surrender to that ever-pure inner Lord.
Bhakti is expressed here as śaraṇāgati—taking refuge in the Lord—acknowledging human limitation under Māyā and turning inward to the indwelling Vishnu through devotion and dependence on divine grace.
No specific Vedāṅga technique is taught in this verse; the practical takeaway is inner discernment (viveka) and steady remembrance, which supports correct application of mantra, ritual, and study without falling into delusion.
