सौरमन्त्राञ्जपेत्तत्र शान्तिसूत्कानि शक्तितः । रात्रौ जागरणं कुर्यादुपकण्ठं हरेः शुचुः ॥ १६ ॥
sauramantrāñjapettatra śāntisūtkāni śaktitaḥ | rātrau jāgaraṇaṃ kuryādupakaṇṭhaṃ hareḥ śucuḥ || 16 ||
そこでサウラ(太陽)の真言をジャパして唱え、力の及ぶ限りシャーンティ・スークタ(鎮静の讃歌)を誦すべきである。夜には身を清め、ハリ(ヴィシュヌ)の御前近くにあって通夜し、目覚めて過ごせ。
