Nārada (teaching in a dharma-instruction context, traditionally within the Nārada–Sanatkumāra dialogue frame)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It presents a complete dhārmic sequence: mantra-sanctified charity to a worthy brāhmaṇa, followed by feeding dvijas and then sharing the sanctified food with one’s family—turning personal merit into a socially sustaining act.
While not directly naming Viṣṇu-bhakti, it supports bhakti-oriented living by prescribing offerings done with mantra and purity, and by honoring the learned and the community—acts commonly treated as aṅgas (supports) of devotional dharma.
Ritual application of mantra (connected to Śikṣā for correct recitation and Kalpa for procedural rules) and the principle of śaktyā—performing rites according to one’s means, a key practical guideline in dharma-śāstric observance.
