Bhāgīratha’s Bringing of the Gaṅgā
भगीरथ उवाच । भगवन्सर्वधर्मज्ञ सर्वशास्त्रविशारद । पृच्छामि भवभीतोऽहं नृणामुद्धारकारणम् ॥ ११ ॥
bhagīratha uvāca | bhagavansarvadharmajña sarvaśāstraviśārada | pṛcchāmi bhavabhīto'haṃ nṛṇāmuddhārakāraṇam || 11 ||
バギーラタは言った。「おお、福徳具足の御方よ。あらゆるダルマを知り、すべてのシャーストラに通暁するお方よ。輪廻の流転を恐れる私は、人々を救い上げる真の因は何かをお尋ねいたします。」
