Narrator (Purāṇic narration, traditionally Sūta relating the account)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
The verse highlights that sincere reverence (praṇāma) and heartfelt praise (kīrtana) are recognized by the deity; divine grace follows when devotion is genuine.
It presents bhakti as an active practice—bowing and glorifying the Lord by sacred names—through which the devotee’s inner sincerity becomes “known” and draws the Lord’s compassionate response.
No specific Vedāṅga (like Vyākaraṇa, Jyotiṣa, or Śikṣā) is taught here; the practical takeaway is devotional discipline—name-recitation (nāma-kīrtana) and respectful worship etiquette.
