Vāmana’s Advent, Aditi’s Hymn, Bali’s Gift, and the Mahatmya of Bhū-dāna
हरिरुपी महादेवः शिवरुपी जनार्दनः । इति लोकस्य नेता यस्तं नमामि जगद्गुरुम् ॥ ३० ॥
harirupī mahādevaḥ śivarupī janārdanaḥ | iti lokasya netā yastaṃ namāmi jagadgurum || 30 ||
マハーデーヴァはハリの御姿であり、ジャナールダナはシヴァの御姿である。かくして彼こそ世を導く者と知り、我は宇宙の師ジャガドグルに礼拝し奉る。
Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It teaches Hari–Hara abheda: the one Supreme is expressed as both Viṣṇu (Hari/Janārdana) and Śiva (Mahādeva), and therefore worthy of single-minded reverence as the Jagadguru who leads the world.
It directs the devotee to worship without sectarian division—seeing Śiva in Viṣṇu and Viṣṇu in Śiva—so devotion becomes unified, humble (namāmi), and focused on the Supreme guide of all beings.
No specific Vedāṅga technique is taught in this verse; the practical takeaway is theological discernment used in mantra-japa and pūjā—maintaining non-dual respect in Hari and Hara worship within Purāṇic dharma.
