Brāhma Purāṇānukramaṇikā
मरीच्यादिऋषिभ्यस्तु पुत्रस्नेहावृतात्मना । एकदा ब्रह्मणः पुत्रो मरीचिर्नाम विश्रुतः ॥ १६ ॥
marīcyādiṛṣibhyastu putrasnehāvṛtātmanā | ekadā brahmaṇaḥ putro marīcirnāma viśrutaḥ || 16 ||
しかしマリーチをはじめとする諸リシの中で、ある時、名高きマリーチ—ブラフマーの子—は、子への愛情に心を覆われて（その状態で行い／語り）した。
