Sanatkumara (in instruction to Narada)
Vrata: Śiva-pūjā with dīpa (ghṛta) and naivedya (Ūrja/Kārttika trayodaśī-pradoṣa sequence, contextually)
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It emphasizes bhakti expressed through upacāras (devotional offerings): light (ghee lamp), fragrance, fruits, and naivedya—outer acts meant to cultivate inner reverence and steadiness in worship.
Bhakti is shown as practical service (sevā) to the deity—offering what is pure and sattvic (ghee, fragrant substances, fruits, food) as a disciplined, affectionate act of worship.
It reflects kalpa-style ritual procedure (prayoga): specifying standard pūjā materials and the sequence of offerings (dīpa, gandha, phala, naivedya) used in formal worship.
