Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It frames a pratimāsika (monthly) rule of sacred intake, showing how regulated, sattvic food and ritually purified substances (like kuśa-water and milk) support dharma and the discipline of vrata.
By emphasizing regular, rule-based observance, it supports bhakti through niyama (devotional discipline): offering and partaking in a purified, restrained manner as an act of reverence rather than indulgence.
Kalpa (ritual procedure) is implicit: the verse gives a concise vrata-vidhi detailing what is to be consumed and how it is ritually qualified (e.g., kuśa sanctification), indicating applied dharma through injunction.
