Narada (teaching in the Narada Purana dialogue framework)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It teaches that honoring learned Brāhmaṇas through feeding and dakṣiṇā concentrates the merit of many charities and directs that merit toward Viṣṇu, culminating in joy in His divine abode.
Bhakti is expressed through reverential service and offerings performed in a Viṣṇu-centered spirit—hospitality and dakṣiṇā become devotional acts that please Viṣṇu and lead the devotee toward His presence.
Ritual practice (kalpa) is implied: proper atithi-satkara (hosting), the rule of giving dakṣiṇā to officiants/Brāhmaṇas, and completing a rite with prescribed honoring of recipients.
