Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It teaches that ritual objects become spiritually efficacious when consecrated through worship and held with sincere devotion, emphasizing bhakti as the core power behind observances.
The instruction centers on ‘parayā bhaktyā’—the act (wearing the cord) is secondary to heartfelt devotion, showing that external observances are meant to be vehicles for inner surrender.
It reflects Kalpa-style ritual procedure (prayoga): specifying the object’s construction (seven strands, seven knots), its consecration (saṃpūjya), and correct mode of wearing (left hand).
