The Explanation of the Twelve-Month Caturthī Vrata
आचार्याय विधिज्ञाय सत्कृत्य विनिवेदयेत् । उपहारं प्रकल्प्याथ दद्यादर्घं समुद्यते । ततः संप्रारथ्य विघ्नेशमूर्तिं सोपस्करां मुने ॥ २१ ॥
ācāryāya vidhijñāya satkṛtya vinivedayet | upahāraṃ prakalpyātha dadyādarghaṃ samudyate | tataḥ saṃprārathya vighneśamūrtiṃ sopaskarāṃ mune || 21 ||
作法に通じたアーチャーリヤに敬って近づき、供物を正式に申し出るべきである。次に相応の贈り物を整え、起ち上がってアルギャ(敬礼の灌水)を捧げる。その後、聖者よ、必要な祭具を備え、具現の姿なるヴィグネーシャに正しく祈願すべきである。
