誓戒を守る者は、ブラーフマナら諸信者とともに町と聖地を巡礼して右繞し、ついで水の貯えのほとりへ赴き、大いなる祭典(マホーツァヴァ)を執り行わせるべきである。
Narada (teaching in a vrata/utsava context within Book 1.4 narration)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: vira
It frames vrata-observance as a communal, place-sanctifying act: circumambulation (parikramā) honors the sacred geography, and the mahotsava near water emphasizes purity, auspiciousness, and public devotion.
Bhakti here is expressed through shared, outward worship—procession with dvijas and devotees, and organizing a public festival—turning personal vow into collective remembrance and celebration of dharma.
Ritual procedure (kalpa-style practice) is implied: how to structure a vrata—parikrama, choosing an auspicious/purifying location near water, and formally arranging (kārayet) a mahotsava with officiants.
