Suta (narrating the Narada Purana’s chapter-contents/anukramanika)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It signals key themes of the Purana’s narrative—Pārvatī’s tapas, Śiva’s grace, and the sanctity of divine marriage—presented here as a contents-summary (anukramaṇikā) to guide the reader through the upcoming sections.
By highlighting ‘prasādana’ (winning the Lord’s grace) through steadfast tapas and reverent dialogue with sages, it points to devotion expressed as disciplined practice, humility, and seeking guidance—culminating in divine favor.
No specific Vedāṅga technique is taught in this verse; it functions as an index-entry. Indirectly, it reflects dhārmic ideals around vrata/tapas and auspicious rites (maṅgala, udvāha) that later connect to ritual practice.
