Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It frames the Purāṇic method of transmitting dharma and cosmology: sacred history is presented in a concise, teachable form, linking human understanding to vast cycles of creation (kalpas).
While bhakti is not stated directly, the verse signals that Purāṇas like the Matsya Purāṇa are authoritative vehicles for hearing (śravaṇa) sacred narratives—an essential foundation for devotion through attentive listening and remembrance.
The emphasis is on structured transmission and concise compilation (saṃkṣepa), aligning with disciplined exposition and textual organization rather than a specific Vedāṅga like Vyākaraṇa or Jyotiṣa in this single verse.
