ततश्च विस्तरात्सर्गस्त्रिपुराख्यानकं तथा । लिंगप्रतिष्ठा च ततः पशुपाशविमोक्षणम् ॥ ८ ॥
tataśca vistarātsargastripurākhyānakaṃ tathā | liṃgapratiṣṭhā ca tataḥ paśupāśavimokṣaṇam || 8 ||
次に創造がさらに詳しく説かれ、またトリプラの物語も語られる。続いてシヴァ・リンガの建立（灌頂・奉安）があり、その後パシュがパーシャ（束縛）から解き放たれる。
