*ईश्वर उवाच तस्मिन्नेव युगे ब्रह्मन् सहस्राणि तु षोडश वासुदेवस्य नारीणां भविष्यन्त्यम्बुजोद्भव //
*īśvara uvāca tasminneva yuge brahman sahasrāṇi tu ṣoḍaśa vāsudevasya nārīṇāṃ bhaviṣyantyambujodbhava //
主は言われた。「まさにその時代に、ブラフマンよ――蓮華より生まれし者よ――ヴァースデーヴァには一万六千の女人(妻・妃)がいるであろう。」
