Adhyaya 75 — The Fall and Restoration of Revatī Nakṣatra and the Birth of Raivata Manu
ऋषिरुवाच
प्रियेतिसाम्प्रतं येयं त्वयोक्ता वरवर्णिनी ।
किं विस्मृतन्ते भूपाल श्लाघ्येयं गृहिणी तव ॥
ṛṣir uvāca
priyeti sāmprataṃ yeyaṃ tvayoktā varavarṇinī /
kiṃ vismṛtante bhūpāla ślāghyeyaṃ gṛhiṇī tava //
聖仙は言った。「たった今、汝自身がこの優れ、光り輝く女人を『愛しき者』と呼んだではないか。なぜ忘れたのだ、地を護る者よ。汝のこの妃は讃嘆に値する。」

Forgetfulness of one’s obligations—especially toward those who sustain one’s life and dharma—is treated as a moral lapse. Praise without remembrance/commitment is hollow.
