इतश्चेतश्चान्धकारे आससाद तटं ततः ॥

Transliteration

tena plavena sa yayāv ūhyamāno mahītale | itaś cetaś cāndhakāre āsasāda taṭaṃ tataḥ ||

Translation

彼は彼女を浮きとして用い、流れに乗って進み、まるで地の上を運ばれるかのようであった。闇の中で左右に翻弄されつつ、ついに岸へと至った。
