Adhyaya 64 — Kalavati (Vibhavari) Offers Herself and the Padmini Vidya to Svarocisha
sāhaṃ prāṇapradāyādya tāṃ vidyāṃ svaṃ tathā vapuḥ / prayacchāmi pratīccha tvaṃ prasādasumukho mama
Boons are not merely transactional: the verse frames giving as self-involvement (vapuḥ) and asks for reciprocal grace—power should be received with responsibility and reverence.
Manvantara narrative material: illustrates how extraordinary capacities (vidyā, prosperity-control) are conferred within a particular time-cycle and its exemplars.
Granting prāṇa and vapuḥ suggests ‘ensoulment’ and ‘embodiment’ of the vidyā—i.e., the power becomes operative only when it takes form within the recipient’s life-force and identity.
