वसन्ति स्वामिवद् गेहे ध्वस्ते यान्ति ततोऽन्यतः ॥

Transliteration

pipīlikākhu-nakula-gṛhagodhā-kapiñjalāḥ | vasanti svāmivad gehe dhvaste yānti tato 'nyataḥ ||

Translation

蟻、鼠、マングース、家守（やもり）、そして鷓鴣（しゃこ）は、家にあたかも自分たちが主人であるかのように住む。家が崩れれば、彼らは他所へ去る。
