भेषजं ब्रह्महत्याया बलदेवो महाबलः ।

तीर्थयात्राप्रसङ्गेन कस्माच्चक्रे हलायुधः ॥

Transliteration

bheṣajaṃ brahmahatyāyā baladevo mahābalaḥ |

tīrthayātrāprasaṅgena kasmāccakre halāyudhaḥ ||

Translation

なぜ大力のバラデーヴァ—大いなる力を備え、鋤を執る者—は、ブラフマハティヤー（バラモン殺し）の罪の対治であるとして、聖なるティールタ（聖地の渡し場）への巡礼を行ったのか。
