Adhyaya 34 — Madālāsā’s Instruction on Sadācāra (Householder Conduct, Purity, and Daily Rites)
सार्धं न बलिभिः कुर्यान्न च न्यूनैर्न निन्दितैः ।
न सर्वशङ्किभिर्नित्यं न च दैवपरैर्नरैः ॥
sārdhaṃ na balibhiḥ kuryān na ca nyūnair na ninditaiḥ |
na sarvaśaṅkibhir nityaṃ na ca daivaparair naraiḥ ||
強権的な有力者とも、劣った者とも、非難されるべき者とも取引や提携をしてはならない。万事を疑う者と常に交わることも、ただ運命にのみ依存する男たちと交わることもしてはならない。
