एतत् ते पुत्र कथितं श्राद्धकर्म यथोदितम् । काम्यानां श्रूयतां वत्स श्राद्धानां तिथिकीर्तनम् ॥
etat te putra kathitaṃ śrāddha-karma yathoditam / kāmyānāṃ śrūyatāṃ vatsa śrāddhānāṃ tithi-kīrtanam
かくして、子よ、伝承に説かれるとおりシュラーダ(śrāddha)の作法を汝に説き示した。今や、愛しき子よ、欲求成就のために行うカーミヤ(kāmya)・シュラーダに適う月日(ティティ)の誦示を聴け。
