Adhyaya 30 — Madālasā’s Instruction on Household Duties and Naimittika–Śrāddha Rites
कुर्युर्मातामहायैवं पुत्रिकास्तनयास्तथा ।
द्व्यामुष्यायणसंज्ञास्तु मातामहपितामहान् ॥
kuryur mātāmahāyaivaṃ putrikāstanayās tathā |
dvyāmuṣyāyaṇasaṃjñās tu mātāmahapitāmahān ||
このように、任命された娘(プトリカー putrikā)の息子たちも、母方の祖父のために儀礼を行うべきである。両系に属する者として知られるドヴ்யームシュヤーヤナ(dvyāmuṣyāyaṇa)も、母方の祖父と父方の祖父の双方のために(儀礼を)行う。
