मुहूर्तस्याष्टमं भागमुदीक्ष्योऽप्यतिथिर्भवेत् ।

अतिथिं तत्र सम्प्राप्तमन्नाद्येनोदकेन च ॥

muhūrtasyāṣṭamaṃ bhāgam udīkṣyo 'py atithir bhavet / atithiṃ tatra samprāptam annādyenodakena ca

たとえムフールタ(muhūrta)の八分の一ほど待った後でも、客は来ることがある。もしそこに客が来たなら、食物やその他の用意すべきもの、そして水をもって敬ってもてなすべきである。
