यज्ञदानतपांसीह परत्र च न भूतये ।

भवन्ति तस्य यस्यार्तपरित्राणे न मानसम् ॥

Transliteration

yajña-dāna-tapāṃsīha paratra ca na bhūtaye | bhavanti tasya yasyārta-paritrāṇe na mānasam ||

Translation

「苦しむ者を守ろうと心を定めぬ人にとって、祭祀・布施・苦行は、この世においても来世においても、福祉へと導かない。」
