इति श्रीमार्कण्डेयपुराणे पितापुत्रसंवादो नाम दशमोऽध्यायः ।

एकादशोऽध्यायः ।

पुत्र उवाच

निषेकं मानवः स्त्रीणां बीजं प्राप्तं रजस्यथ ।

विमुक्तमात्रो नरकात् स्वर्गाद्वापि प्रपद्यते ॥

iti śrīmārkaṇḍeyapurāṇe pitāputrasaṃvādo nāma daśamo 'dhyāyaḥ | ekādaśo 'dhyāyaḥ | putra uvāca | niṣekaṃ mānavaḥ strīṇāṃ bījaṃ prāptaṃ rajasy atha | vimuktamātro narakāt svargād vāpi prapadyate ||

かくして「父と子の対話」と名づけられた第十章は終わる。ここに第十一章が始まる。子は言った――男の種子が女の月経の時にその身に納められるとき、地獄より解き放たれた者、あるいは天界からでさえ来た有情が、その状態へと入るのである。
