न हार्जुनसम: कश्रिद् युधि योद्धा धनुर्धर: । भविता वा पुमान् कश्चिन्मत्समो वा गदाधर:,'युद्धमें अर्जुनके समान कोई धनुर्धर अथवा मेरे समान गदाधारी योद्धा न तो है और न आगे होनेकी ही सम्भावना है
na hārjunasamaḥ kaścid yudhi yoddhā dhanurdharaḥ | bhavitā vā pumān kaścin matsamo vā gadādharaḥ ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは言った。「戦場において、アルジュナに比肩する弓の使い手はない。さらに、棍棒（ガダー）を執る戦士として、今も未来も、我に並ぶ者は一人としていない。」
