मधुपिज्ी महाबाहु: कम्बुग्रीवो हसन्निव । अड्दी बद्धमुकुटो दिश: प्रज्वालयन्निव,उनकी अंगकान्ति मधुके समान पिंगलवर्णकी थी। भुजाएँ बड़ी-बड़ी और ग्रीवा शंखके समान थी। वे हँसते हुए-से जान पड़ते थे। उनकी भुजाओंमें अंगद (बाजूबंद) चमक रहे थे और मस्तकपर बँधा हुआ मुकुट शोभा पाता था। वे सम्पूर्ण दिशाओंको प्रज्वलित-सी कर रहे थे
Vaiśaṃpāyana uvāca: madhupiṅgī mahābāhuḥ kambugrīvo hasann iva | aṅgadair bhāsamāno ’sau baddhamukuṭaḥ śriyānvitaḥ | diśaḥ prajvālayann iva ||
ヴァイシャṃパーヤナは言った。「その御身は蜜のごとき黄金色に輝き、広き腕を備え、首は法螺貝のようで、微笑んでいるかのようであった。逞しい腕には腕輪が閃き、頭に結ばれた冠はその光輝をいよいよ増した。その光明によって、四方の方角すべてが燃え立つかに見えた—吉祥なる威厳と圧倒的な臨在の相である。」
