व्यसनं भवतश्चैदं संक्षेपाद्‌ वै निवेदितम्‌ । “सम्पाति जब इस तरहकी बातें कर रहा था, उस समय हमलोगोंने बताया कि जटायु मारे गये। साथ ही हमने संक्षेपसे आपके ऊपर आये हुए इस संकटका समाचार भी निवेदन कर दिया

Transliteration

vyasanaṃ bhavataś caidaṃ saṃkṣepād vai niveditam |

Translation

マールカンデーヤは言った。「そなたらに降りかかったこの災厄は、すでに—まことに簡潔に—報告された。サンパーティがそのように語っている最中、われらはジャターユが討たれたことを告げ、さらに、そなたらに迫った危機の知らせをも手短に申し述べたのだ。」
