द्विमासोपरमे काले व्यतीते प्लवगास्ततः । सुग्रीवमभिगम्येदं त्वरिता वाक्यमन्रुवन्,दो मास व्यतीत हो जानेपर कुछ वानर बड़ी उतावलीके साथ सुग्रीवके पास आये और इस प्रकार कहने लगे---
