भ्राता चास्य महाबाहु: सौमित्रिरपराजित: । लक्ष्मणो नाम मेधावी स्थित: कार्यार्थसिद्धये,“उनके भाई महाबाहु सुमित्रानन्दन लक्ष्मणजी भी किसीसे परास्त होनेवाले नहीं हैं। उनकी बुद्धि बड़ी प्रखर है। वे श्रीरामके प्रत्येक कार्यकी सिद्धिके लिये उनके साथ रहते हैं

Transliteration

bhrātā cāsya mahābāhuḥ saumitrir aparājitaḥ | lakṣmaṇo nāma medhāvī sthitaḥ kāryārthasiddhaye ||

Translation

マールカンデーヤは言った。「またその弟もいる――強き腕を持つスミトラーの子、征服されぬ者。名をラクシュマナといい、智は鋭く、あらゆる目的と事業が成就するよう、兄の傍らに立ち続けている。」
