Sāvitrī’s Dialogue with Yama and the Restoration of Satyavān
तद् वासो दर्शयामासुस्तस्य कार्य निवेदिते । वानराणां तु यत् सीता द्वियमाणा व्यपासृजत्,रामने सुग्रीवके समक्ष जब अपना कार्य निवेदन किया, तब उन्होंने श्रीरामको वह वस्त्र दिखाया, जिसे अपहरणकालनमें सीताने वानरोंके बीचमें डाल दिया था
tad vāso darśayāmāsus tasya kārya-nivedite | vānarāṇāṃ tu yat sītā dvyamāṇā vyapāsṛjat |
ラーマがスグリーヴァの前で己の用向きを告げると、彼らは一枚の衣を示した。—それはシーターが攫われ運ばれる折、猿たちの間へ落とした布であった。
मार्कण्डेय उवाच
A small, truthful token can become decisive moral evidence: it awakens compassion, confirms reality, and strengthens resolve to act according to dharma—protecting the afflicted and opposing adharma.
After Rāma states his mission, the Vānaras show him Sītā’s garment—the cloth she dropped while being abducted—thereby confirming her capture and guiding the next steps toward her rescue.
