हतास्ते दानवा: सर्वे यै: स शब्द उदीरित: । शरैरादित्यसंकाशैज्वलितै: शब्दसाधनै:,जिन दानवोंने पहले कोलाहल किया था, वे सब सूर्यके समान तेजस्वी शब्दवेधी बाणोंद्वारा मारे गये
hatās te dānavāḥ sarve yaiḥ sa śabda udīritaḥ | śarair āditya-saṅkāśaiḥ jvalitaiḥ śabda-sādhanaiḥ ||
ヴァーユは言った。「あの騒擾の声を先に上げたダーナヴァどもは、ことごとく討たれた――燃えさかり、太陽のごとく輝く矢、音そのものを手がかりに的を射る武器によって。かくして、彼らが放った喧噪は、彼らを見つけ出し滅ぼす手段となったのだ。」
