The passage emphasizes the vastness and interconnectedness of existence: all classes of beings—divine, ancestral, human-like spirits, and even adversarial forces—are encompassed within a greater reality. Ethically, it encourages humility before the cosmic order and steadiness in a simple, disciplined life (fruit-subsistence and continual wandering).
The speaker reports an extraordinary vision: he has seen numerous celestial and otherworldly beings, as well as demonic hosts like Rāhu and other enemies of the gods. He then states that everything in the world, moving and unmoving, appeared to him within the belly of a certain great-souled being, and he describes his ongoing ascetic routine of living on fruits while roaming the world.
