सत्यव्रतधरा: सर्वे सर्वे पुरुषमानिन: । हन्तारो देवशत्रूणां रक्षमां कामरूपिणाम्‌

Transliteration

satyavratadharāḥ sarve sarve puruṣamāninaḥ | hantāro devaśatrūṇāṃ rakṣasāṃ kāmarūpiṇām ||

Translation

マイトレーヤは言った。「彼らは皆、真実の誓いを堅く守り、各々が自らを名誉ある丈夫とみなしている。彼らは神々の敵を討つ者——姿を変える羅刹たち——であり、欺きと略奪によって栄える力を滅して、神聖なる秩序を護るのだ。」
