Surabhi–Indra Dialogue as a Governance Exemplar
ते हि सर्वे नरव्यात्रा: शूरा विक्रान्तयोधिन: । सर्वे नागायुतप्राणा वज्ञसंहनना दृढा:,मनुष्योंमें श्रेष्ठ सब पाण्डव शूरवीर, पराक्रमी और युद्धकुशल हैं। उन सबमें दस हजार हाथियोंका बल है। उनका शरीर वज्रके समान दृढ़ है
te hi sarve naravyāghrāḥ śūrā vikrāntayodhinaḥ | sarve nāgāyutaprāṇā vajrasaṃhananā dṛḍhāḥ ||
マイトレーヤは言った。「彼らは皆、人の中の虎――英雄にして勇敢、戦場で鍛えられた戦士である。各々が一万の象に等しい生命力と力を備え、その身は密に締まり、雷霆の金剛のごとく堅固で、砕くことはできぬ。」
