Udyoga-parva Adhyāya 47 — Arjuna’s Deterrent Declaration
Sañjaya’s Report
āhṛtya kṛṣṇo maṇikuṇḍale te hatvā ca bhaumaṁ narakaṁ muraṁ ca | śriyā vṛto yaśasā caiva viddhavān pratyājagāmāpratimaprabhāvaḥ ||

The verse highlights dharma as the restoration of what is rightfully possessed and the removal of tyrannical forces. True glory (yaśas) and prosperity (śrī) follow righteous action performed with discernment (viddhavān), not mere conquest.
Sañjaya reports that Kṛṣṇa killed the demons Naraka (also called Bhūma) and Mura, recovered the jewel earrings, and then returned to his city, celebrated for unmatched power and crowned with victory’s splendor and fame.
