अम्बा–राम–भीष्म संवादः
Amba–Rama–Bhishma Dialogue on Vow and Refuge
ततः कृतस्वस्त्ययनो मात्रा च प्रतिनन्दित: । द्विजातीन् वाच्य पुण्याहं स्वस्ति चैव महाद्युते
tataḥ kṛtasvastyayano mātrā ca pratinanditaḥ | dvijātīn vācya puṇyāhaṃ svasti caiva mahādyute, yattuṃ sūtena śiṣṭena bahuśo dṛṣṭakarmaṇā |
ビーシュマは言った。「それから、吉祥の儀礼がしかるべく執り行われ、母が祝福と賀詞を授けてくれたのち、私はバラモンたちに聖なる『プンヤーハ（puṇyāha）』と『スヴァスティ（svasti）』の祝祷を唱えさせた。おお光輝ある者よ、私はついで出立した。幾度も戦場でその手腕が確かめられた、教養と規律を備えた熟練の御者に導かれて。」
