उद्योगपर्व (अध्याय १२९) — केशवस्य वैभवप्रदर्शनम् / Krishna’s Theophanic Display in the Kuru Assembly
अनेक युगों तथा असंख्य वर्षोकी आयुवाले नरकासुरको युद्धमें मारकर श्रीकृष्ण उसके यहाँसे सहस्रों राजकन्याओंको (उद्धार करके) ले गये और उन सबके साथ उन्होंने विधिपूर्वक विवाह किया ।।
nirmocane ṣaṭ-sahasrāḥ pāśair baddhā mahāsurāḥ | grahītuṃ nāśakaṃs taṃ tvam prārthayase balāt ||
ヴィドゥラは言った。「解き放たれるその時、六千の強大なアスラたちは縄の投げ輪（パーシャ）で固く縛られていたが、それでも彼を捕らえることはできなかった。しかるにお前は今、力ずくで彼を奪い取ろうというのか。」
