भुक्तवत्सु द्विजेन्द्रेष यथावत्‌ सम्प्रदापयेत्‌ । वाचकं भरतश्रेष्ठ भोजयित्वा स्वलंकृतम्‌

Transliteration

bhuktavatsu dvijendreṣu yathāvat sampradāpayet | vācakaṃ bharataśreṣṭha bhojayitvā svalakṛtam, bharatabhūṣaṇa |

Translation

ヴァイシャンパーヤナは言った。「最上のバラモンたちが食事を終えたなら、しかるべき作法に従って相応の施与をなすべきである。ついで、バーラタ族の最勝者よ、物語を誦する者を衣と飾りで荘厳して敬い、上等の食を供して饗せよ。その後、贈り物と敬意の礼をもって彼を満足させるのがふさわしい。」
