कटके कुण्डले चैव ब्रह्मुसूत्रं तथा परम्
kaṭake kuṇḍale caiva brahmasūtraṃ tathā param | kaḍe kuṇḍala yajñopavīta vicitra-vastraṃ viśeṣataḥ gandham arpitvā vācakasya devatā-samāṃ pūjāṃ kuryāt | evaṃ-kārī śrotā bhagavato viṣṇoḥ loke gacchati ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは言った。「腕輪と耳飾りを捧げ、さらに聖紐（ヤジュニョーパヴィータ）をはじめ、諸々の装身具、上質で彩り豊かな衣、そしてとりわけ香料を供えて、語り手を神に礼拝するがごとく敬いなさい。かく行う聴聞者は、主ヴィシュヌの世界に至る。」
