Recognition and Explanation
अथापरमस्मिन्नुद्देशे मरुद्गणवृतं विभुम् । भीमसेनमथापश्यत् तेनैव वपुषान्वितम्
athāparam asminn uddeśe marudgaṇavṛtaṃ vibhum | bhīmasenam athāpaśyat tenaiva vapuṣānvitam ||
さらに天界の別の場所で、彼は大力のビーマセーナを見た。マルトたちの群れに四方を囲まれ、なお以前と同じ、見分けのつく身体の姿を保っていた。すぐれた光輝に満ち、最高の成就を得たビーマは、風神の従者たちの中に現れた——それは、揺るがぬ力がダルマにかなうとき、ついに究極の報いへ至ることを示す。
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse underscores karmic fruition and divine acknowledgment: a life of steadfast strength aligned with dharma culminates in honored recognition in the celestial order, where the hero is seen radiant and surrounded by divine beings.
The narrator describes the seer’s vision of Bhīma in a heavenly region: Bhīma appears in a divine setting, encircled by the Maruts, yet retaining a familiar bodily form, indicating his exalted status and attainment.
