यत्र देवो महाबाहु: शाश्वतः पुरुषोत्तम: । अनादिनिधनो विप्र किमाश्नर्यमत: परम्
yatra devo mahābāhuḥ śāśvataḥ puruṣottamaḥ | anādinidhano vipra kim āścaryam ataḥ param ||
ナーガは言った。「婆羅門よ、これ以上の驚異がどこにあろうか——太陽の比類なき光輝のうちに、無始無終の大臂なる永遠の至上者プルショーत्तマが住まうのだ。そこから生命の多様な種子が生じ、その支えによって、この大地は動くものも動かぬものも一切とともに保たれている。もしナーラーヤナご自身が太陽の円輪に輝き坐すなら、何がそれを驚異において凌ぐというのか。」
