आनृशंस्यमहिंसा चाप्रमाद: संविभागिता । श्राद्धकर्मातिथेयं च सत्यमक्रोध एव च
ānṛśaṁsyam ahiṁsā cāpramādaḥ saṁvibhāgitā | śrāddha-karmātitheyaṁ ca satyam akrodha eva ca ||
パラーシャラは言った。「慈悲と不殺生(アヒンサー)、不注意を離れた警醒、そして分かち合う習わし。シュラーダ(śrāddha)の儀礼を行い、客をもてなすこと。真実を語り、しかも怒りを離れること——これらが守るべき徳である。」
पराशर उवाच
