वधबन्धनिरोधेन कारयन्ति दिवानिशम् | आत्मनश्लापि जानाति यद् दुःखं वधबन्धने
vadhabandhanirodhena kārayanti divāniśam | ātmanaś cāpi jānāti yad duḥkhaṃ vadhabandhane |
トゥラーダーラは言った。「人は自らの経験によって、殺されることと囚われることがいかに苦しいかを知っている。にもかかわらず、他者を屠り、縛り、牢に閉じこめ、昼夜を分かたず働かせる。なぜそれを非難しないのか。」
