सत्कृतो<हं त्वया मित्र सामर्थ्यादात्मन: सखे | स मां मित्रत्वमापन्नमुपभोक्तुं त्वमहसि
satkṛto ’haṃ tvayā mitra sāmarthyād ātmanaḥ sakhe | sa māṃ mitratvam āpannam upabhoktuṃ tvam arhasi ||
ビーシュマは言った。「友よ、愛しき伴侶よ。汝は己の力の及ぶかぎり、余を余すところなく敬い遇してくれた。余もまた汝と友誼を結んだ。ゆえに、余のもとに留まり、この友情の絆から生ずる歓びと栄誉を共に味わうがよい。」
